Join our experienced yoga teacher for a 3-day introduction and leave us with a new sustainable routine that is designed to enrich and support a busy lifestyle. There will also be time to discover the area, walk, relax, enjoy a therapy and connect with like-minded people. Our Community Café serves a range of local, Fair Trade or organic produce with vegetarian, vegan and ethically produced meat options.
Claire Parker (Dip.BWY) has been teaching yoga since 2003. She studied with The British Wheel of Yoga and teaches a physically gentle, mindful style of yoga that suits all abilities including beginners. A typical class includes yoga postures (asana), breath awareness and yoga breathing exercises (pranayama) with relaxation and meditation techniques. The emphasis is on the comfort and specific needs of each student; progressing their own yoga to build confidence and understanding.
In addition Claire is qualified to teach Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs and Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation). She is currently training to teach Bones For Life – Movement Intelligence – weight bearing and bone strengthening practices.
