Preston Sands Hotel – Defibrillator project
Good day, I am the founder trustee of a charity The Missing Kind, we support passionate people wishing to make a difference in their local communities.
Mathew Taylor, an employee of Preston Sands Hotel and a community volunteer has offered his time to steer our most recent charity project in Paignton, to install a defibrillator close to the Preston Sands Beach.
In addition to the support of Preston Sands Hotel we are politely seeking assistance to raise additional funds from local businesses, from direct sponsorship, donations or auctionable items for our monthly raffles.
Our initial target is £2000.
A defibrillator is a device that gives a high energy electric shock to the heart through the chest wall to someone who is in cardiac arrest. This high energy shock is called defibrillation, and it’s an essential life saving step in the chain of survival.
